
This first-of-its kind national project recruited more than 11,000 storytellers from every U.S. state and territory to contribute videos, photos and texts that, when woven together by filmmakers, made up a portrait of what it really means to be American. As a multi-platform project, producers and directors turned the vast library of material into a 4-part prime-time docu-series, a mass market coffee table book, a mobile platform, public art projects, live events and more.
