Craig is an Emmy-winning documentary director and docu-series show runner whose work has been featured on Netflix, Peacock, Hulu, PBS, NatGeo, Sundance Channel and in The Atlantic.

As a director, his films and series combine the truth-telling of high-end documentaries with the dramatic storytelling of narrative features. He’s known for developing strong relationships with subjects and gaining intimate access to people and institutions that rarely agree to be filmed.

As an experienced show runner, he builds team structures and production systems that foster creativity and togetherness while delivering premium docu-series on time and under budget.

Craig got his start in reporting, receiving his Master’s from Columbia University’s School of Journalism and working for The Wall Street Journal. He moved into television as one of the original creators of MTV’s seminal documentary series, True Life

He spent more than 12 years as Chief Creative Officer at Punched in the Head Productions before transitioning to freelance directing and show-running.
